Point Spread: 1.50 | -175.00 NY Islanders (Away)
Whether its Semyon Varlamov or Thomas Greiss in net for the Islanders, I think that New York will at the very least, keep this one close to easily cover with the spread "puck line" option.
I don't think that the Islanders have what it takes to win this series, but I do think they can win this game outright and stay alive for at least one more.
New York's strength is its depth across four lines. Unfortunately, that's the same thing for Tampa Bay.
Individual player matchups are pointless in my opinion, I simply feel that Tampa will have enough of a mental letdown here to let the Islanders hang around.
Note as well that the Islanders are 6-2 in their last eight after a three-goals or larger setback in their previous outing.
I'm banking on this one coming right down to the wire.
The play is the ISLANDERS on the PUCK LINE!
Good luck, NP
