This is a 10* RUN-LINE BLOWOUT OF THE WEEK on the LA Angels.
The Angels won last night, but I like the Rangers to bounce back here with their ace on the mound.
Lance Lynn (6-2, 2.40 ERA) has thrown at least 100 pitches in 35 straight starts, which is the longest streak in the majors since Justin Verlander did it all the way back in 2012. Lynn has conceded two runs or fewer in nine of 11 outings this year. He's also now 4-2 with a 3.54 ERA in eight career starts vs. the Rangers.
Heaney is just 2-5 with a 5.29 ERA in 12 starts vs. the Rangers.
Heaney's been better of late, but I still give a huge nod to Lynn in this particular matchup, who is now throwing for a massive off-season paycheck.
In a game which I see being decided late or even in extra time, I'm going to lay the reasonable price for the extra 1.5 runs in our back pocket. The play is the RANGERS on the RUN LINE!
