This is a 10* RUN-LINE GAME OF THE WEEK on the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Reds have won eight of their last nine and they took the first game of this series 6-3 on Monday, but I like the hungry Brewers to bounce back here.
Sonny Gray returns from the DL to make this start. Gray (5-3, 3.94) is 3-2 with a 2.56 ERA in eight career starts vs. the Brewers, but before landing on the DL he was shlled for 11 runs and six walks over four innings spanning two starts.
MIlwaukee is still 10-9 this month and it's aiming of a third straight playoff spot.
The Brewers counter with the capable Brett Anderson (3-3, 4.38) who is 3-2 with a 4.88 ERA lifetime vs. the Reds (six starts), but who is 1-1 with a 3.72 ERA vs. them this season.
Note as well that the Brewers are 7-2 in their last nine after a three runs or greater loss to an opponent in their last outing.
I'm going to lay the mid-sized price for the extra 1.5 runs in my back pocket.
