This is a 10* UPSET ATS SHOCKER OF THE YEAR on Wake Forest.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are a part of the ACC this year, but it's just temporary due to the Pandemic.
The Irish posted a 27-13 win over Duke in their opener, before then hammering USF last weekend as 23.5 point favorites.
Yes, Wake Forest has allowed an average of 512 yards, but its offense has been decent. Clemson held on for a 37-13 win over the Demon Deacons in Week 1, but Wake easily covered with the large spread.
One external factor which definitely works in our favor here too in my opinion is the weather, as the forecast calls for rain.
Also, notice the difference in injuries to each side:
Notre Dame: Kyle Hamilton DB (Questionable), Ben Skowronek WR (Questionable), Kevin Austin Jr. WR (Questionable), Ovie Oguoufo DL (Questionable), Shaye Simon LB (Questionable), Tariq Bracy CB (Questionable), Jahmir Smith (Questionable), Lawrence Keys III WR (Questionable).
Wake Forest: Donavon Greene WR (Questionable), Trey Rucker DB (Questionable).
Wake Forest is 4-1 ATS in its last five at home and I think that it'll be competitive late again here as well.
Both teams have two weeks off after this due to the weird schedule this year, so the Irish could be caught looking ahead here as well.
I'm not calling for the outright upset, but I'm expecting a much more competitive battle than what the bookmakers are trying to lead us to believe.
