This is an interesting inter-provincial matchup.

The Oilers average 3.23 GPG, while allowing 3.21, while the Flames average 3.48 GPG, while conceding 2.46.

If we were to only look at these offensive and defensive numbers, then most would likely lean to the "over" as the correct call here, but from a situational stand point, we absolutely believe this will be more of a defensive affair.

Calgary is off a 4-3 OT road win at Colorado, which is significant to note in our case as the Flames have seen the total go UNDER in seven of their last nine after an OT road win in which they scored four or more goals in.

The Flames also play with revenge after a 5-3 loss to Edmonton on January 22nd.

This is going to have a playoff like atmosphere about it and we're expecting that to translate into a highly-competitive, but ultimately lower-scoring UNDER.
