This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER Reds/Padres.

I had a play on the OVER in the Reds and Dodgers yesterday, and that one cashed in LA's big 9-1 victory.

Cincinnati let a few key pieces go in the offseason, and that's evident in the Red's 2-8 start. Clearly, Cincinnati can't be happy about its current position and the panic button has been pressed.

Nick Lodolo (0-1, 11.25 ERA) gets the call for the visitors. He went four innings in his debut and allowed seven hits and five runs in a loss to the Guardians.

He'll be opposed by Sean Manaea (1-1, 1.38) and the Padres, who come in off a tight 2-1 win here at home over the defending champs just last night.

San Diego has seen the total go UNDER in three straight, but it's seen the total go OVER in six of its last eight after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.

I say Lodolo's struggles continue here in this difficult road venue. I also expect some regression here from Manaea.
