After getting swept in three straight games at Houston, falling 8-1, 9-1, and 4-2, the short-handed Angels are going to have their hands full again today in our estimation here in Miami facing Marlins' ace Sanday Alcantara.

The visitors hand the ball to Noah Syndergaard (5-6, 3.86 ERA), whose average four-seam fastball is now 94.2 MPH, compared to 97.8 MPH in 2019.

Alcantara's four-seam average is 97.7 MPH.

Alcantara was sharp in June, going 3-1 with a 1.89 ERA over six starts and I believe he'll carry that momentum over here.

There's not a lot of history between these clubs, but this is a starting matchup that we feel favors the home side.
