This is a 10* TOTAL BOOKIEKILLER on the UNDER Twins/Padres.
We've had a play on the UNDER in the first two games of this series, and those have each come up short unfortunately.
That said, we love how this one sets up to be more of a "DUEL" here finally on Sunday.
Minnesota has now seen the total go OVER in eight straight, while San Diego has seen the total go OVER in six consecutive contests.
Public perception has now driven today's O/U line a bit higher than it normally should be in our estmation.
These are two competent and hungry starters and we're expecting them battle into the latter frames, something we haven't seen done over the first two games of this series.
The visitors hand the ball to Dylan Bundy (6-4, 5.02 ERA), while the home side counters with Sean Manaea (5-5, 4.33.)
Each is coming off a terrible outing, as Bundy allowed five runs ove four innings, while Manaea allowed nine runs over three frames.
But these higher-scoring games that we've been seeing lately have not been the norm. San Diego only gives up 3.66 runs per game at home, and the Padres only average 3.68 RPG at home. Minnesota only allows 4.40 RPG on the road and we expect each to be held under its average this afternoon.
