Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but we're expecting those trends to end this evening.

That's signficant to note in both cases, as the Diamondbacks have seen the total go OVER the number in seven of their last nine after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row, and they've also seen the total go OVER the number in 11 of their last 17 in trying to avenge two or more straight road losses against an opponent.
The Giants enter having seen the total go UNDER in three of their lat four. They've won five in a row and I expect that momentum to get carried over here.
Zach Davies is 2-4 with a 4.11 ERA for the Diamondbacks. While Davies is 1-1 with a 3.26 ERA at home this season, he's just 1-3 with a 5.00 ERA on the road.
Carlos Rodon is 11-6 with a 2.95 ERA for the Giants. He's been a consistent bright spot for the Giants, but while he posted a 2.66 ERA over the first half, he enters with a more pedestrian 4.02 ERA in the second.
Rodon's been great, this is just a case of him finally being in the wrong place at the wrong time tonight.
