This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the OVER A's/Rangers.

Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but we're expecting those trends to end this afternoon.

This is the fourth game of a four-game set. The first two games went UNDER the number, but yesterday's "pushed" in Oakland's 7-2 victory.

Thursday's contest has all the makings of a classic "slug-fest" though in our estimation (interesting to note as well that Texas has seen the total go OVER the number in five of its last six in trying to avenge a home loss against an opponent in which it was held to two or fewer runs in.)

Neither starter is anything to write home about. Zach Logue is 3-6 with a 5.49 ERA for the A's, while Dane Dunning is 2-6 with a 4.12 ERA for the Rangers.

Logue faced the Rangers in late May and was shelled for four runs off seven hits over two innings. The rookie is just 1-3 with a ballooned 6.14 ERA on the road as well.

Dunning faced the A's on May 29th and he allowed three runs off seven hits over three innings. Granted Dunning's been better at home than on the road this year, but we still feel that overall situation points to Thursday's contest here in Texas being a higher-scoring SLUG-FEST, rather than another lower-scoring DUEL.
