This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE NIGHT on the UNDER Mariners/A's.
Both teams have been playing to several highers-scoring affairs of late, but we're expecting those trends to end this evening.
Oakland has lost two in a row, while also seeing the total go OVER the number in two straight as well after yesterday's 10-2 blowout loss here to Seattle.
The Mariners have now seen the total go OVER the number in six straight, which is significant to note in our case here as Seattle has in fact seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last ten after playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row.
We have a classic "duel" on our hands here in our opinion. The Mariners turn to Logan Gilbert, who is 10-5 with a 3.51 ERA, while the home side counters with James Kaprielian, who is 3-7 with a 4.33 ERA.
