Outright win? I'm not predicting that here. But we do definitely expect this contest to be a lot more competitive than what the oddsmakers are trying to lead us to believe.
Rutgers went just 2-7 in Big Ten play. Noah Verdal returns under center for the Scarlet Knights, and this continunity will help the offense. Last year he had 1,813 passing yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions, as well as rushing for the second most yards on the team.
Boston College finished last season 6-6, including 2-6 in the ACC. Phil Jurkovec returns as quarterback.
