Liberty is coming off an 8-5 season, while Southern Miss finished 3-9.

Liberty was led by Malik Willis last year, but he's now a part of the Tennessee Titans. Jonathan Bennett and Charlie Brewer will be trying to fill his shoes.

But the Flames also lost RB TJ Green, as well as WR Kevin Shaa.
