This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the Montreal Alouettes.

The Elks were looking to make it two wins in a row after winning in Ottawa the previous weekend, but Ottawa somehow managed to move to 2-8 after bouncing back with the 25-18 outright win as a 2-point underdog last weekend in Edmonton.

Montreal won't be taking this rivalry game lightly. The Alouettes are just 4-6, but they'll be looking to build off last weekend's 29-28 home win over Hamilton as one-point underdogs.

The week before that Montreal won 20-17 in overtime on the road at Winnipeg, so a three-game win streak is clearly in the cards for the Alouettes in Week 12, as they're favored at home here by 4.5 points or so.

Ottawa is perhaps surprisingly 4-1 against the spread on the road this season, but I can't see the Redblacks putting up back-to-back victories on the road.

Trevor Harris was 24 of 31 for 382 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception for Montreal last week. Eugene Lewis was the other offensive standout for the Alouettes with seven receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Ottawa won last weekend, but that was despite really mediocre quarterback play. Nick Arbuckle was 21 of 31 for 219 yards, while Caleb Evans was 1 of 1 for 33 yards. Neither had a touchdown or an interception.

I think this one will be decided by the men under center, so that gives Harris and the home side the big advantage here.

I look for Alouettes to have no mercy. I think they go up and then keep their foot on the gas until the final whistle. Consider MONTREAL on Friday night.

Good luck, NP
