Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm expecting those trends to end this evening.

Seattle has seen the total go UNDER in four straight after its 4-01 win here yesterday, while Cleveland has now seen the total go UNDER in six straight.

Note though that the Guardians have seen the total eclipse the posted number in seven of their last ten in trying to avenge a shutout home loss against an opponent.

George Kirby is 6-3 with a 3.16 ERA for the Mariners, while Cal Quantrill is 11-5 with a 3.50 ERA for the Guardians.

Two really starters, and you'd have to really "nit-pick" to find negative things to say about these guys. This is just a case of each being in the wrong place at the wrong time in my opinion.

The situation and trends point to Sunday's O/U line being a bit low. Consider the OVER.
