This is an 8* TOTAL DESTRUCTION on the OVER Raiders/Titans.
I think we're going to see some offensive fireworks here between two teams desperate for a breakout performance. The Raiders and Titans are both 0-2. Teams that start 0-3 only have a 2.5 percent chance of even making the playoffs.
Before this season started, each of these teams was predicted to do quite well.
Las Vegas fell 24-19 to the Chargers in Week 1, before collapsing 29-23 in overtime in Week 2 at home to the Cardinals. The totals in each of those games was set at 53.
The Titans are on the ropes as well after two straight losses to open the season, falling 21-20 to the Titans, before last week's disastrous 41-7 loss at Buffalo. That total went OVER the number of 47.5 by a .5 point. I had the OVER in that one. So far that's the only "prime-time" NFL game that's gone OVER the number this season.
This is a great situational play in my opinion. The oddsmakers have overreacted here, and I think we're getting great value on the OVER finally.
Everything points to this total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
