This is a 10* ACC GAME OF THE YEAR on Virginia.
UVA is 2-1 SU, but 0-3 ATS. With a tough game against currently 3-0 Duke nex weekend, I think the Cavaliers will risk life and limb here to try and pull off an upset.
Syracuse on the other hand could get caught looking ahead to its cream puff next week against Wagner.
I'm not calling for an outright upset though, I just think that the Orange will leave the back door wide open for hungry UVA to sneak in through down the stretch.
The Cavs rebounded from a loss to Illinois to beat ODU last week, while the Orange beat Purdue at home.
Brennan Armstrong looked pretty good for the Cavs in last week's win over ODU, going for 284 yards. The run game has been the focal point though, as Perris Jones already has 186 rushing yards for an average of five yards per carry.
The UVA defense is once again solid this year, allowing an average of just 18.3 PPG thus far.
The Orange looked primed for a letdown here after their 31-7 upset win over the Boilermakers last weekend. They were 5.5-point udnerdogs in that one. Garrett Schrader has an 8:0 TD:INT so far, but regression is imminent here vs. this aggressive defense from the Cavs.
The Orange also focus on the run while on offense, and I'm expecting a very tight game overall.
