I was 2-1 on Friday. My one loser was the "OVER" in this exact contest. Where that play failed though, I expect this one to succeed.
Milwaukee has seen the total go UNDER in three straight, which is significant to note here, as the Brewers have seen the total go OVER the number in five of their last six after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
The Reds have now seen the total go UNDER in seven straight.
Corbin Burnes is 10-8 with a 3.12 ERA for the Brewers, while Graham Ashcraft is 5-3 with a 3.97 ERA for the Reds.
Milwaukee is fighting for its playoff life, and I'm expecting that sense of urgency in which the team will be playing with, to translate into offensive production at the plate.
Ashcraft is 0-1 with a 5.91 ERA in two starts vs. Milwaukee this year.
Burnes has had plenty of success vs. the Reds in the past, but Cincinnati will be doing its best to play spoiler here, and I expect it to plate a few here as well.
I'm not laying the big road price, and I'm not interested in the runline option. But as far as the total is concerned, all signs point to this one flying OVER the posted number sooner, rather than later.
