Graham Ashcraft is 5-4 with a 4.18 ERA for the Reds. This is his second start after missing more than a month with injury. He's struggled against the Cubs this year, conceding 11 runs off 13 hits over just eight innings opposed.
Adrian Sampson counters for the home side and he's 3-5 with a 3.23 ERA and has been great in September so far. This is just a case of Sampson being in the wrong place at the wrong time today.
I believe the conditions are now right for a much more offensive affair than what this Over/Under line is suggesting in this contest. This total is low, the play is the OVER.
