This is a 10* NFC WEST GOM on the 49ers.
As primarily a situational handicapper, I love the way this one sets up for the home side.
The Rams are 2-1, and the 49ers are 1-2. Jimmy Garopolo is now the man under center for San Francisco and after last weekend's frustrating 11-10 loss at Denver, I think he'll bounce back here at home.
The Rams haven't looked very impressive to me at all in the early going. They got smoked by the Bills, barely hung on for the home win over the Falcons, before last week's 20-12 win at Arizona.
Off that satisfying divisional road victory, now they're once again on the road to face a desperate divisional rival.
This one sets up as almost a do or die scenario for San Francisco, as a 1-3 hole and a home loss to a division rival would be a difficult and deep hole to dig out of, especially considering that both the Cardinals and the Seahawks won on Sunday.
Look for San Francisco to dig deep here and find a way to deliver at home. The play is the 49ERS.
