Both teams are coming off of very different results in Week 1. Edmonton lost 17-13 at home to Saskatchewan as a 2.5-point favorite. The Elks have now lost five straight dating to last year, and so Taylor Cornelius will be given the "green light" to open up this offense on the road this week. Cornelius wasn't horrible, finishing with 202 yards, one TD and two picks. The Lions won't want to "look past" their opponent to two straight road games, and we're expecting them to keep the pedal to the metal from the opening kick, until the final whistle. This number is low, the play is the over.
