He gave up three runs on five hits while striking out four in 4.2 innings. Lucas Giolito will make the start for the Sox. He is 3-2 with a 3.14 ERA this season with 66 strikeouts. Against KC he is 6-2 with a 2.75 ERA and 71 strikeouts.

The Kansas City Royals will look to turn things around against Giolito and the Sox by sending Kris Bubic to the mound. He is 0-4 with a 5.46 ERA and 27 strikeouts this season. Bubic will be making his second career start against the White Sox.

The over is 5-0 in the Sox last 5 games as a road favorite. Giolito has been pitching well, including a no-hitter, but has been prone to giving up some runs on occasion. White Sox have been able to put up a ton of runs in any game. Bubic has been pounded on occasion and the Sox are an offense that can over themselves.
