While we're playing on a team that is 0-13 in ACC play the truth is we're playing against an ACC team that is 1-13 and an 8-point favorite. When you have two very poor teams tipping off I will always favor the one what can still lose and make you money.
Learning to win as a favorite is difficult and learning to win and cover is even harder as Wake is now 0-5 ATS as a favorite this season. On the season the Deacs have won ONE game by over this spread and it came back on Dec 15th as they failed to cover as a 15 pt favorite versus NC Greensboro (81-71). Wake also suspended Devin Thomas who is not only their leading scorer but averaging a double-double (15.8 ppg & 10.2 reb/game). Lastly BC is 3-2 ATS their past 5 games and they just just faced each of the ACC's top 5 defensive teams (FG%) while WF is 2-3 ATS their last 5 game having only faced one. These teams are tied for last in the conference with the same % so edge to BC taking a much larger step down in competition.
