Doug Fister had command issues on Saturday against the White Sox, allowing five runs on nine hits in a season-low 4 2/3 innings. Several of the A's hitters have great numbers against him too.

Oakland is off of a shutout loss at Minnesota yesterday. Houston is off of a win where they got some surprising big hits and also took advantage of an 3 errors on the part of Seattle which cost us a win with our selection last night. The Astros are still only 11-15 against left-handed starters this season and Rich Hill is a very good lefty. He's a perfect 6-0 on the road this season for the A's with a 1.40 ERA away from home. The Astros are 1-8 on Thursdays this season as well and we'll back the A's tonight as a road underdog.
