On paper, the Raiders look to be the right side here today. Oakland is ranked No. 4 in yards per game, 8th in passing yards, 9th in rushing yards, and 5th in points per game. On the flip side, Kansas City checks in at No. 21 in yards per game, 15th in passing yards, 21st in rushing yards, and 20th in points per game. All week all I've been hearing is how Andy Reid is 15-2 coming off a bye and the public is all over the Chiefs.
Most of those wins with Reid were with the Eagles when we was coaching there. The underdog in this series has gone 13-5 ATS in the last 18 meetings. But the Raiders haven't had an offense or an offensive line like this in decades. Derek Carr has been sacked only five times and the Chiefs have virtually no pass rush. Oakland's defense allows a ton of yards but they've also played some of the top offensive teams. The love the way the Raiders are playing and HC Jack Del Rio is pulling all of the right strings this year so I look for the Raiders to get another win here at home.
