Houston is the better team in this matchup and can put up some points. The MAC was not a good conference this year as the Zips were favored in all but one game and prior to that the last time they were an away dog was at Gonzaga on Dec 10th. Houston played a much tougher schedule (#89 vs #184) and went 12-6 in AAC action. Four of their losses came to Cincy and SMU which have my #8 and #27 overall defenses and another came against UCF with their #59 D. The Cougars #34 offense will pull away against Akron's #214 defense here tonight in a big way. I dont think Akron is very motivated either after going 26-8 and then losing the MAC championship.
