Even though he received limited action this spring, Tanner Roark looked like his usual self by the end of his 2017 debut. He allowed two runs on three hits in six innings with six strikeouts and retired 13 of the final 14 batters he faced.
He is a ground ball pitcher who doesn't issue many walks. Washington 2B Daniel Murphy (8-for-17) and OF Bryce Harper (7-for-18, home run) have had very nice success against Wainwright. I like the Nats here at home on Monday night after coming off 2 straight losses on the road.
