Switch hitting 1B, Justin Smoak has been scoring runs at an excellent rate with 11 runs scored since 5.11.17. Coming back from a rough road run - Toronto will be ready to go vs Texas. Manager John Gibbons has to feel pretty good going up vs a Texas team that has been well behind the curve on the road.



The Texas defense and fielding is questionable to say the least, with 31 errors as of the 5.23.17 period. Though the Rangers pitching is pretty good, their bats are not. Texas has so far, failed to live up to last years success - it doesn't look promising here either.
