Mad Max has been great the last 3 seasons as Scherzer's ERA is 1.92 with a WHIP of 0.85 and both numbers are actually better at home (1.77 & 0.67).
Tampa's starter Nate Eovaldi just returned from Tommy John surgery and in his first start back was pulled after 6 IP with no-hitter but there always a regression after that type of start. Scherzer is 9-1 this season with the loss to the Dodgers and all but one win would have covered the 1.5 run line.
