The 49ers have relied on Matt Breida to carry the ball with 22 carries for 184 yards and a score. The pass attack has seen Jimmy Garoppolo step up into his quarterback position really well with 467 yards on 33 completions and 3 touchdowns, but has thrown 3 picks as well. The leading receiver for the 49ers is George Kitte who has 7 catches for 113 yards on the year, but not a single touchdown. Defensively the 49ers are playing decent as the 49ers are giving up 278 yards a game in the air with 5 touchdowns allowed. The 49ers have sacked their opponents 5 times. Defensively the Chiefs have been able to show up on the field, but have given up a lot of points. SD was banged up when they played them and the Steelers looked lost last week. The Chiefs have only managed to get 2 sacks on the year and only a single pick. The SF 49ers defense is better and I like backing the underdog here with Jimmy G at the helm.
