The Indianapolis Colts head to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the Eagles in week three NFL Preseason action.
The Colts got a seven-point win last week over the Bears winning 24-17 playing on their home field. Indy got great production from veteran backup Gardner Minshew and Sam Ehlinger also played great with the two combining to only get sacked once. Ehlinger looked elite running the ball and the Colts defense impressed me with four sacks and a turnover forced. I expect the Colts to get Anthony Richardson more snaps here in the final preseason game of the year and up and down the depth chart this QB corps looks very solid to me, at least in terms of expected scoring in the preseason.
The Eagles ended up with a tie against the Browns last week. Philadelphia is looking to make their way back to the Super Bowl so these preseason games seem to be extra meaningless to them. We might see a series or possibly two from Jalen Hurts I donβt think the Eagles are going to do anything to put the health of their starting QB at risk in a meaningless game as most starters wont see much time tonight.
Take the Colts to get the win and cover in this one as they are the far better preseason team and should be playing to win and try to build some moentum heading into the regular season.
