Toronto's Edwin Encarnacion had two home runs in yesterday's 6-4 victory.
Encarnacion is on fire no doubt, but note that he's just 8 for 39 (.205) off of Red Sox starter Jon Lester (4-5, 2.67 ERA).
The last time Lester faced the Jays he gave up four runs over seven innings in his team's 7-1 loss on April 27th, but note that he was 4-0 with a 2.55 ERA in six starts vs. them last year.
Also note that Jays' slugger Jose Bautista is just 11 for 57 (.193) vs. Lester with 12 K's.
Toronto sends Mark Buehrle to the mound this afternoon and
he has struggled against Boston throughout his career, he's 8-10 with a pedestrian 4.53 ERA in 24 career starts vs. it (note that Dustin Pedroia is 14 for 36 (.389) against Buehrle).
