WESTERN CONFERENCE CLASH
Sporting KC have had a bad year so far this season overall and specifically away from home, besides beating a good Nashville team last week in a revenge spot. KC played earlier this week in the U.S Open Cup, winning 6-0 to advance to the Semi Finals so they'll be riding into this matchup on tired legs, while the Sounders have only lost 2 of the last 7 matches and are trending in the upward direction.
I'm siding with Seattle -0.75 handicap @ (-105). Sounders have the better defense (KC allows the second most goals in the MLS) and the fact that Seattle has a more potent offense and clear identity, even though Johnny Russell has given KC some life on the offensive end. Seattle started the season looking just as terrible as KC, but Seattle's coach has managed to dig them out of the trenches.
