- LAFC only allowed 1 goal in their opener to Seattle Sounders who have a much more lethal scoring unit than Real Salt Lake, and that goal was only due to a penalty.

- More offensive firepower resides with LAFC who sport a three high pressing front, while Real Salt Lake puts more of the scoring pressure on Cristian Arango to create more scoring opportunities.

- No doubt both teams could score here, but we have seen LAFC already score 2 goals this season in the first 55 minutes of the game, while RSL is a slower paced offense that struggled vs STL last week.
