The San Antonio Bahamas showed immediate and dramatic improvement in week one, defeating the favored DC Defenders easily 27 – 12 while having the play of the week—a fake punt pass to the center who scored on a 30-plus yard pass play—GO, FAT GUYS!
They are favored by 2 and are a money line – 130 against the Showboats of Memphis, who also won, and also as a dog to the Houston Roughnecks, who look like the worst team in the league. The Boats only scored 18 points and the Brahmas 27 in week one so I am on the Brahmas here on the moneyline.
