Philadelphia Flyers vs Montreal Canadiens - Over 5.5 (-125)
Evansville Purple Aces vs Purdue Boilermakers - Purdue -32.5 (-105)
Orlando Magic vs Atlanta Hawks - Kristaps Porzingis Under 17.5 points (-120)

Flyers vs Canadiens

The odds makers have set the total way low in this game here at only 5.5 and the over should be the strong pick here. The over is actually already pulling in a -125 on the odds chart, but with the scoring potential and missing defense from some of the games in the recent showing here makes me think the over 5.5 is the strong bet. The Flyers are putting in only 2.58 goals a game and the Canadiens are getting 3.67 a game scored. The defense is what makes the difference here with the Flyers giving up 2.58, but the Canadiens giving up 3 goals a game which equals out to our total here. However, If you look at the past 5 games the Flyers have went over 5.5 2 times and the Canadiens have went over the 5.5 goals in 4 out of the last 5 games and I do not see any reason to see why the Canadiens will change. Evansville vs Purdue

Have you ever seen the small schools playing the bigger schools to start the year off? Well, if you have them you realize that the smaller schools are just showing up to get the name recognition and in most cases collect a big pay check. The Purple Aces are heading to face Purdue, the top rated team in the nation, in this game here and the Purple Aces are that small school. The Evansville team is returning a total of 5 seniors, but their contribution levels in this game will most likely be kept in check as the Boilermakers are a great team who will be looking to make a deep run on the year. Purdue is definitely going to have a great game here and I think will easily cover the spread as the Boilermakers are the early season favorite to win the entire season, but also have Braden Smith a very talented senior guard suiting up to take on Evansville and his talent combined with the players that Purdue has on the roster will make all the difference. Magic vs Hawks

The Orlando Magic and the Atlanta Hawks are facing off on Tuesday night and while the game itself is tempting, I have found a player prop in the game that I like even better. That prop is going to the under 17.5 points for Kristaps Porzingis in this game here. He has played good on the year and has come close in recent games, the closest he has come in the last 3 games is 15 points two times. In the last 5 games Porzingis has only went over the mark 2 times with 20 and 27 points. What else makes this a good bet for me is the fact that the Magic have been able to keep a lot of the opponents scorers in check starting the season off and that should continue into this game here as the Hawks are good, but will have to move the ball around to get the win here and with that happening I do not see Porzingis hitting the points total.
