Calgary Stampeders vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers Picks and Predictions for Saturday October 10 2026
The Calgary Stampeders visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET with coverage on TSN. Calgary enters at 8-8 after a 37-31 road victory over Saskatchewan, while Winnipeg is 7-8 after its Week 18 trip to Montreal. Both teams remain directly involved in a crowded West Division playoff race. At the time of this writing the betting odds were not released. Calgary’s Offense Gives It the Edge
Calgary enters Week 19 tied with Saskatchewan at 16 points and two points ahead of Winnipeg. That makes this one of the most important remaining games in the West Division race, particularly after the Stampeders strengthened their position by winning in Regina.
Calgary leads the CFL at 35.8 points per game. The Stampeders average 364.8 total yards, including 267.2 through the air and 111.5 on the ground. Their ability to consistently finish possessions with points has separated them from Winnipeg throughout the season.
The concern is Calgary’s defense. The Stampeders surrender 33.8 points and 419.6 total yards per game, including 328.1 passing yards. Those numbers leave the door open for Winnipeg even if Calgary establishes an early advantage.

Winnipeg Is Running Out of Margin for Error
Winnipeg enters Week 19 at 7-8 and sits last in the West with 14 points. The Blue Bombers are only two points behind Calgary and Saskatchewan, however, making this effectively a playoff game.
The offense hasn’t produced at Calgary’s level. Winnipeg averages 25.5 points and a league-low 337.5 total yards per game. The Blue Bombers produce 254.1 passing yards and 103.9 rushing yards, while converting 44.6 percent of their second-down opportunities.
Winnipeg does have the better defense. The Bombers allow 27.9 points and 384.1 yards per game, compared with Calgary’s 33.8 points and 419.6 yards. Playing at Princess Auto Stadium gives Winnipeg another reason to believe it can slow Calgary enough to keep this close.
Calgary Stampeders vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers Picks and Predictions
Pick: Calgary Stampeders Against the Spread
Calgary is my side once the betting line becomes available. Winnipeg’s home-field advantage deserves respect, but the Stampeders possess the league’s highest-scoring offense and enter with momentum after beating Saskatchewan on the road. Calgary is scoring more than 10 additional points per game compared with Winnipeg. In a game with major playoff implications, I’ll back the offense that has consistently demonstrated a greater ability to finish drives.
Pick: Over the Total
The Over is the total pick. Calgary’s defense is the primary reason. The Stampeders allow 33.8 points and nearly 420 yards per game, providing a struggling Winnipeg offense with a much more favorable matchup than its season averages suggest. Calgary leads the league at 35.8 points per contest, so the Stampeders can do substantial work toward the Over themselves. A competitive game in the upper 20s or low 30s for both teams is a realistic outcome.
