Georgia Tech is riding a five-game losing streak and is coming off a brutal 95-72 loss to Stanford that exposed several ongoing issues. The Yellow Jackets were overwhelmed defensively, especially in the paint, and failed to rotate or recover when Stanford attacked off the bounce.

Offensively, Georgia Tech continues to have problems creating clean looks once their first option is taken away. Too many possessions end with rushed jump shots or forced attempts late in the shot clock. When they are unable to get out in transition, the Yellow Jackets often look stagnant, which plays directly into Wake Forest’s preference for a controlled, half-court game.

Wake Forest should be able to exploit Georgia Tech’s interior issues by attacking downhill and forcing help defense.
