Running back Jordon Vaughn has been the offensive spark, rushing for 137 yards and two scores on 38 carries. On the perimeter, wideout Javon Gipson leads the receiving corps with 155 yards on 10 catches, showing the ability to stretch the field.
The Wildcats will need the defense to step up in a major way to stay competitive against TCU’s fast-paced attack. Linebacker Rashon Myles Jr. has anchored the group with 23 total tackles through two games, while defensive lineman Kortlin Rausaw has added 1.5 sacks. Defensively, TCU controlled the line of scrimmage and forced UNC into mistakes. Edge rusher Zach Chapman picked up a sack, and the secondary tightened up in key moments.
