Tigers’ quarterback Jackson Arnold delivered a solid performance in this one, rushing for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns, while  passing for an additional 108 yards. Auburn’s ground game was dominant overall, picking up 307 rushing yards, and standout special teams play featured a 98-yard kickoff return touchdown by Rayshawn Pleasant.

Ball State Cardinals Preview

The Ball State Cardinals currently sit 0-1, representing the MAC. Ball State opened their season on the road and suffered a 31-0 shutout loss at Purdue in week 1. The Boilermakers struck early, racing to a 14-0 lead in the opening five minutes. Purdue quarterback Ryan Browne was steady, throwing for over 100 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for a score. Ball State had several scoring opportunities in this game but failed to convert, including two missed field goals due to unnecessary mistakes.
