The Bryant Bulldogs lost their season opener at New Mexico State 19-3. Bryant had a total of 255 offensive yards. The Bulldogs kicked a field goal in the 1st quarter then were shutout thereafter. Bryant rushed for just 68 yards in the loss.

QB Brennan Myer was 20/33 in the loss with 187 yards and one interception. Aldrich Doe and Tristen Riley each led the Bulldogs with 5 catches each. RB Rlijah Elliot had 16 carries but rushed for only 27 yards. The Bulldogs allowed 305 total yards in the loss.
