USA Network will broadcast a Saturday afternoon college football meeting between the Duquesne Dukes and the Washington State Cougars. On Saturday, Duquesne was torched for 49 points during the first half of an ugly 70-13 road loss against Youngstown State.

Duquesne’s only touchdown came in the second quarter on a 22-yard strike from Carson Camp to Ryan Petras. Senior RB Ness Davis flashed on offense with 11 carries for a team-high 88 yards. The Dukes committed 14 penalties for 113 yards and allowed the Penguins to pass for 407 yards.

Washington State Preview

The Washington State Cougars enter the 2026 campaign with some newfound life. The Cougars are part of the restructured eight-team Pac 12 Conference and hired Missouri offensive coordinator Kirby Moore as their new head coach. Washington State was competitive in a season-opening 24-10 loss in the Apple Cup and fell flat in last week’s 34-7 road loss against Kansas State.

Washington State trailed 17-0 late in the second quarter, when Jaylen Thomas returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown. Thomas intercepted Kansas State QB Avery Johnson a second time and brought it back 31 yards. The Cougars were gashed by the Wildcats on the ground for 295 yards on 40 carries.
