SEC Conference foes will square off on Saturday afternoon, when the Georgia Bulldogs invade Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Since head coach Kirby Smart arrived in Athens over a decade ago, Georgia has been the best team in the conference. The second-ranked Bulldogs (2-0) have scored 133 points through their first two games and are allowing just 167 yards per game. On Saturday, Georgia erupted for 49 points in the first half and coasted to a 70-20 home victory versus Western Kentucky.

Senior QB Gunner Stockton needed just 16 passing attempts to throw for 234 yards and five touchdowns. No Georgia receiver caught more than two passes and the passing touchdowns were spread among five different players. Nate Frazier contributed 55 rushing yards and a score for the Bulldogs, who forced four turnovers.

Arkansas Preview

The Arkansas Razorbacks failed to win a conference game a season ago and have not finished with a winning record in conference play since 2015. The Arkansas athletics department has placed an emphasis on the basketball and baseball programs, so it might be a while for new head coach Ryan Silverfield to get things turned around. Last year, the Razorbacks (1-1) ranked last in the conference in total defense and surrendered 33.8 points per contest. Last week, Arkansas was torched for 22 points in the second quarter of a lifeless 43-10 road loss against 20th ranked Utah.

Arkansas finally found the end zone midway through the fourth quarter on a 21-yard touchdown pass from A.J. Hill to Ismael Cisse. Starting QB K.J. Jackson was an inefficient 14-for-34 passing for 139 yards and an interception. Chris Marshall added a team-high 63 receiving yards on five receptions for the Razorbacks.
