Big Ten Conference rivals will square off on Saturday afternoon, when the Iowa Hawkeyes travel to the Big House to tackle the Michigan Wolverines. On Saturday, Iowa stepped down in competition to score a 55-0 home victory versus FCS Northern Iowa.

For the first time since 1983, Iowa had three running backs crack the century mark in rushing yards. Xavier Williams (153 rush yds), Braeden Jackson (125 rush yds), and Nathan McNeil (111 rush yds) combined for six touchdowns. Hank Brown completed all 12 passing attempts for 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Michigan Preview

Over the last few years, the Michigan football program has been surrounded by controversy and hired Utah HC Kyle Whittingham to restore order. Whittingham inherits a squad that won nine games in 2025 and has the talent to crash the College Football Playoff party. The 18th ranked Wolverines are allowing 220 yards and 13.0 points per contest. On Saturday, Michigan erupted for 28 points in the third quarter during a 52-17 home victory versus UTEP.

Sophomore QB Bryce Underwood went 19-for-25 passing for 223 yards and two touchdowns. Ten different Michigan players carried the ball and were led by Savion Hiter with 62 yards on 11 carries. Andrew Marsh contributed a game-high 105 receiving yards and a score for the Wolverines.
