Quarterback Mark Gronowski has passed for 306 yards with three touchdowns and one interception through three games, leaning on a run-heavy offense. Xavier Williams leads the way with 186 rushing yards at 7.2 yards per carry, and the Hawkeyes have produced six rushing touchdowns as a team. The passing game has been limited, with Sam Phillips at just 90 receiving yards as the team’s top option.

Defensively, Iowa continues to play its usual physical style. Jaden Harrell leads the team with 19 tackles, while the line has generated seven sacks through three games. The group held UMass to just seven points last week, but it will face a much sharper passing attack against Rutgers.

Quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis has been efficient and accurate, throwing for 820 yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions on a 72.9% completion rate. The run game is paced by Antwan Raymond, who has 248 yards and five touchdowns on 43 carries.
