The LSU Tigers sit 1-0, ranked 9th in the nation. LSU comes into week 2 riding a 17-10 upset victory over No. 4 Clemson in their season opener. Tigers’ quarterback Garrett Nussmeier was stellar, completing 28 of 38 passes for 230 yards and a touchdown and earning SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors. On the ground, Caden Durham led the rush with 17 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown, while receiver Aaron Anderson was LSU’s top target, hauling in 6 catches for 99 yards   .

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Preview

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs currently sit 1-0 in Conference USA. The Bulldogs opened their season at home with a 24-0 shutout win over Southeastern Louisiana. Louisiana Tech quarterback Trey Kukuk was efficient, completing 14 of 19 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. Running back Clay Thevenin headlined the rushing effort with 61 yards on 6 carries and a touchdown, and it was tight end Eli Finley who led the all receivers with 4 catches for 59 yards.
