Ole Miss Rebels

Trinidad Chambliss has completed 44 of 62 passes for 561 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. Kewan Lacy leads the ground game with 148 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries. Deuce Alexander has been the Rebels’ top receiving threat, catching 13 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns. Horatio Fields has added 113 yards and a score.

The Rebels have allowed 23.5 points per game, with 38 coming against Louisville before holding Charlotte to nine. Ole Miss has recorded four sacks and one interception. Tah'j Butler and Keaton Thomas lead the defense with 12 tackles apiece, while Luke Ferrelli has 11 tackles and a sack. Kam Franklin and Jordan Renaud have also recorded sacks. Nick Cull has the Rebels’ interception, returning it 38 yards.

Injuries: No injuries to report.

LSU vs Ole Miss Prediction

Ole Miss has a productive passing attack and home-field advantage, but LSU’s defensive front creates the biggest matchup problem. The Tigers have 12 sacks through two games, while Ole Miss has allowed only one, setting up an important battle around Chambliss. LSU also enters allowing just 12 points per game. Leavitt’s four interceptions give Ole Miss opportunities to stay close, and Chambliss has taken better care of the ball. Still, LSU has produced 586 total yards per game and can attack with both Jones and Leavitt on the ground. The Tigers will create enough pressure and finish more drives to earn the road victory. Final Score Prediction: LSU Tigers win, 31-27.
