Middle Tennessee Preview
Middle Tennessee has dropped four of five and sits winless in the conference. Quarterback Nicholas Vattiato is 138-for-226 for 1,392 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions. The signal caller is completing 61% of his passes and averages 6.2 yards per attempt. Nahzae Cox leads the receivers with 353 yards and four touchdowns. Jekail Middlebrook paces the run game with 433 yards at 5.7 yards per carry and two scores.
Protection has been a problem. The Blue Raiders have allowed 20 sacks, and negative plays have stalled drives. Linebacker Parker Hughes leads the defense with 46 tackles. Edge rusher Brandon Buckner has three sacks. The defense has 14 sacks but needs more third-down stops. Middle Tennessee must protect Vattiato, keep throws short and quick, and let the run game complement the passing game.
Delaware Preview
Delaware has split its last four and returns home after two close games. Quarterback Nick Minicucci is 152-for-236 for 1,801 yards with nine touchdowns and three interceptions. Minicucci is completing 64% of his passes and averages 7.6 yards per attempt. Kyre Duplessis leads the receivers with 430 yards and two touchdowns. The ground game has 763 yards at 4.1 yards per carry, led by Jo Silver with 375 yards at 5.5 per carry and three scores. Minicucci has seven rushing touchdowns.

The Blue Hens have allowed 27 and 38 points in the last two games. Linebacker Gavin Moul leads with 54 tackles, and the unit has 13 sacks. Safety Mysonne Pollard has two interceptions. Kicker Nate Reed is 3-for-7 on field goals. Delaware must finish drives with touchdowns, protect Minicucci from pressure, and keep Duplessis involved on first and second down.
Middle Tennessee vs Delaware Prediction
Delaware holds the passing advantage and has a more consistent rushing attack. Middle Tennessee’s pass protection issues will cause the Blue Raiders to have too many stalled drives. The Blue Hens will control field position and score late to win at home. Final Score Prediction: Delaware Blue Hens win and cover ATS 33-17
