Missouri Preview

Missouri escaped Auburn last week with a 23-17 double-overtime win, bouncing back from a narrow 27-24 loss to Alabama. Quarterback Beau Pribula has been steady under center, throwing for 1,365 yards and 11 touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes.  Has distributed the ball effectively, with wideout Kevin Coleman Jr. leading the receiving corps with 388 yards on 40 catches. The Tigers’ offense thrives on balance, thanks to running back Ahmad Hardy, who’s racked up 782 yards and nine touchdowns on 115 carries. His ability to move the chains keeps pressure off Pribula and sets up the play-action passing game. Linebacker Josiah Trotter anchors the defense with 36 tackles, while Damon Wilson II provides consistent pressure in the opposing backfield with 5.5 sacks.

Vanderbilt Preview

Vanderbilt looks equally sharp after upsetting LSU 31-24, marking its third home win in four tries. Quarterback Diego Pavia continues to prove he’s one of the most dynamic dual-threats in the conference, throwing for 1,409 yards and 14 touchdowns while adding 352 yards on the ground. Tight end Eli Stowers has become a reliable target, posting 323 receiving yards and two scores. The Commodores’ ground attack is effective with Pavia’s mobility, creating mismatches and forcing defenses to stay honest. Edge rusher Miles Capers has been a difference-maker with 4.5 sacks, while safety CJ Heard leads the secondary with 31 tackles. Vanderbilt’s recent home success gives them confidence, but this Missouri team is capable of matching the Commodores with talent and toughness.

Missouri vs Vanderbilt Prediction

This matchup projects to be tight throughout, with both quarterbacks in form and both teams excelling on both sides of the line. Missouri’s offense should keep the Tigers competitive, but Vanderbilt’s ability to make big plays at home gives it the advantage, especially when playing at home. Expect several momentum swings before this one is settled.
