Mississippi State Preview

Mississippi State failed to win a conference game in Jeff Lebby’s first year at the helm and have already doubled last season’s win total. The Bulldogs (4-0) are much improved on defense and are allowing 11.8 points per contest. Last week, Mississippi State did not allow a second half point during a 38-10 home victory versus Northern Illinois.

Mississippi State trailed by three points early in the second quarter, but took the lead for good on a one-yard touchdown catch by Seydou Traore. Davon Booth found the end zone twice in the second half for the Bulldogs, who improved to 4-0 for the first time since 2014.
